Good decisions are the difference between successful ventures and those that fail. Because of the importance, it's vital for our college to give every opportunity to our students to gain the experience they need to become great financial analysts, where ever they are.

 

From Classroom to Capital Markets: Students Compete for $4,500 and Real-World Experience

That's why the Haile Õ¬Äе¼º½ Business is launching our first annual stock pitch competition. In a partnership between our Accounting, Economics and Finance department and the Haile Investment Club we will gather some of the brightest minds from NKU and beyond to showcase our research, analytical skills, and creativity in front of a panel of judges.

What is the 2026 Stock Pitch Competion?

Teams will select and analyze a publicly traded company and then deliver a concise stock pitch presentation on whether or not investment in the company is compelling or not. With a total of $4,500 of prize money on the line, competition will be bullish. The first place winner will recieve $2,500, second place will receive $1,400, and third place $600.  


What are People Saying about the 2026 Stock Pitch Competition?

This inaugural competition has garnered the attention of the community. We have secured a lead sponsorship from Fifth Third Bank, and supporting sponsorships from Republic Bank, First Financial Bank, and Truist Bank.

What are the details of the 2026 Stock Pitch Competion?

The 2026 Stock Pitch Competition is:

When: February 20, 2026 from 9am to 4pm.

Where: University Center, Room 375 (Ballroom) at Õ¬Äе¼º½ (1 Louie B. Nunn Drive, Highland Heights, KY 41076)

Cost: $80.24 (Covers the day's activities and includes lunch!)

Deadlines

  • Team Registration Opens: October 1, 2025
  • Ticker Registration Window: January 19 - 23, 2026 (first-come basis)
  • Slides Due: February 13, 2026
  • Competition Day: February 20, 2026
